Where the FUN NEVER ENDS

RKY Camp is located on Eagle Lake in Eastern Ontario. DLA was privileged to work with the Camp Director and RK Porter Construction on a new dining hall for 250 lucky campers between the ages of 7 -17. The building is strategically located on a small rock outcropping which minimized rock removal during construction and allows for a partial basement for storage of canoes, kayaks, and all types of camp equipment. The main dining hall has white pine timber trusses, polished concrete floors and a stone fireplace. The “lakeside porch” is the main entry for the campers as they line up for each meal and have a friendly competition to see who gets to enter (and eat) first.
